Saturday and Sunday 10th and 11th July 2021

We are delighted to announce that we are planning for the 2021 Burton Regatta and Burton Sprint to go ahead over the weekend of 10th and 11th July.

After the terrible year that we have all endured, we are looking forward to welcoming visiting clubs to the beautiful Burton Washlands for a great rowing weekend.

Our event will be run in accordance with the British Rowing and UK Government advice and regulations that may be in place at the time of the event.

The 2021 Burton Regatta Poster is available here.

We have been asked to minimise the number of people on the regatta site as far as possible.  To this end we would request that spectators are kept to a minimum please.  We would suggest that spectators should be limited to partners of competitors and parents of junior competitors.  This is in addition to, of course, normal coaches and support teams.

The course is 1100m downstream Saturday and 700m downstream Sunday with 2 divisions both days.

Division 1 - AM
Division 2 - PM

New Competition Framework Event Bands
Senior events will be split into bands against competitors of similar ranking index. The aim will be
for no less than 4 and no more than 8 per band, but racing against an appropriate ranking will take
priority. The winner of each band will receive medals.
