IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT TRAILER ACCESS
There is a Flood Defence hump at the access to the Regatta Meadows. This hump is impossible to pass over with a loaded boat trailer and an attempt to do so may cause serious damage to the towing vehicle, trailer and/or boats.
There is a bypass road around the hump which we are legally obliged by the East Staffordshire Borough Council to keep locked, but we will open when necessary to allow boat trailers and authorised large vehicles to pass onto the field. If this gate is not manned when you arrive there will be a notice on the gate with the mobile phone number of the supervisor with the key who will be somewhere on the regatta field and will be with you within a few minutes.
If you have any problems call Richard Gipson on 07828 144835.
